What is a Hybrid CCTV Recorder? A Hybrid System allows the device to accept both analogue cameras (BNC) & also IP cameras (RJ45). The recorder typically has BNC inputs only to connect analogue cameras directly to the box. IP cameras are connected to the same network as the recorder using a seperate network switch. The recorder is then then configured to accept (IP) video signals from these cameras.
