The UR Fog Modular 300 Ajax Ready Anti-Intrusion Fog Generator (order code FPU03ESM032WNFE//, also known as FPU03ESM300A) floods 300 m³ with dense, harmless fog in 40 seconds, stopping a burglary the moment it starts. It ships with two Ajax relays factory-fitted, so it pairs wirelessly with any Ajax hub through the Ajax app — no panel wiring, no third-party interfaces. Recommended for up to 300 m³ rooms (larger shops, small warehouses).

The fog is EUROFINS-certified non-toxic to people and animals, leaves no residue and no odour. Food-grade fluid (tested to Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004) makes the system suitable for kitchens, restaurants, food retail and pharmacies. Fluid bags have no hard shelf life — UR Fog recommends replacement roughly every 3 years if unused. EN 50131-8 compliant.

How much does the UR Fog Modular 300 cover?

Is the fog fluid included?
No - like all UR Fog machines, the Modular 300 ships without fluid. Add the 500ml food grade fluid bag (FFLXRC2-3FG) or choose the KIT version which includes it.
How does it connect to my Ajax system?
Two Ajax relays come factory-fitted inside the machine. You add them to your hub in the Ajax app by QR code (one relay arms with the system, one fires the fog) - typically a 10-minute job. Full step-by-step instructions are in the configuration manual on the Documents tab.
Is the security fog safe for people, pets and stock?
Yes. The fog is EUROFINS-certified non-toxic to humans and animals, leaves no residue and no odour, and will not damage stock, electronics or furnishings. The food grade fluid is additionally tested to Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 for use around open food.
What about false alarms?
You choose the activation logic: instant firing from detectors, or photo-verified firing where an Ajax MotionCam image is checked before the fog is triggered remotely - so the fog only ever fires on a confirmed intrusion.
What happens after the fog fires?
The fog holds at zero visibility, then disperses naturally over roughly 30-60 minutes with normal ventilation, leaving no residue to clean up. Fit a replacement fluid bag and the system is ready to protect again.
Does it still work in a power cut?
Yes, with the optional backup battery fitted the machine stays armed and can fire for around an hour without mains power. The Ajax hub's own battery keeps the wireless link alive.
Are security fog systems legal in the UK?
Yes. Anti-intrusion fog generators are legal and widely used in UK homes and businesses. UR Fog systems comply with EN 50131-8, the European standard for security fog devices. Many insurers look favourably on fog protection for high-value stock; check your policy for any certification requirements.
How long does a fluid bag last?
Fluid bags are single-tank, multi-shot and have no hard expiry - UR Fog recommends replacing an unused bag roughly every 3 years. After any discharge, check remaining fluid; the machine reports fluid status.
