StarClamp Contractor Kit 1 – Starlink Shipping Container Side Mount Kit
StarClamp® Contractor Kit 1 is a no-drill side-mount kit for putting a Starlink Standard dish on a shipping container, site office or welfare cabin. It locks into the container's corner-casting lifting point, so there is no drilling, welding or damage to hired units — and most of the work is done from ground level.
Key Features:
- Fixing plate, offset tube arm and Starlink pole adaptor in one kit.
- Fits standard ISO container corner castings.
- 5 mm British steel, electroplated, BS 4872 welds.
- Typical install around 30 minutes with hand tools.
- Removable and reusable across projects.
StarClamp® Contractor Kit 1 — Starlink Side Mount for Containers
Get a site office online fast: a professional, no-drill Starlink mount that fits in about half an hour and moves with the cabin.
Overview
Reliable internet is now part of running a site — project management apps, drawings in the cloud, CCTV monitoring, access control, VoIP and Wi-Fi for the welfare cabin all depend on it. When fibre is months away or 4G and 5G struggle, Starlink is often the quickest answer, but improvised brackets, ratchet straps and drilled fixings are not a professional way to hold a satellite dish on a hired cabin.
StarClamp® Contractor Kit 1 was developed for contractors, IT teams and Starlink installers who need a fast, safe and repeatable install. The kit bolts to the side of a standard ISO container using the existing lifting aperture in the top corner casting. An offset tube arm carries the dish up and clear of the roofline, and the StarClamp pole adaptor holds a Starlink Standard dish at the right angle for a strong signal. Nothing is drilled or welded, so the container keeps its coating, its value and its hire terms — and when the job finishes, the kit comes off in minutes and goes to the next site.
Safer Than Going on the Roof
Roof-mounted dishes usually mean ladders, podiums, scaffold or a MEWP, plus working-at-height paperwork. Because Contractor Kit 1 fixes to the side of the container, most of the installation can be completed from ground level or low steps. That cuts risk, reduces access-equipment hire and speeds up deployment across multiple compounds.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I install Starlink on a shipping container without drilling?
Yes. Contractor Kit 1 uses the existing lifting aperture in the container's top corner casting, so there is no drilling, welding or roof penetration — ideal for hired containers and cabins.
Which Starlink dish does it fit?
The included pole adaptor is made for Starlink Standard (Gen 3 / V4) and Standard 4X dishes with a kickstand. For a Starlink Mini or Flat High Performance dish, choose the StarClamp offset tube arm container mount and use the matching Starlink pipe adapter.
How long does it take to fit?
Most installs take around 30 minutes with standard hand tools, plus time to align the dish in the Starlink app.
Why side-mount instead of roof-mount?
Fixing to the side of the container means most of the work happens from ground level, reducing working at height, access-equipment hire and installation time.
Can the kit be reused?
Yes. It unbolts in minutes without leaving any mark, so you can move it with the cabin or redeploy it on the next project.
