Overview

The Ruijie RG-ES207GS-HP is a compact Gigabit PoE switch from Ruijie’s Reyee Smart CCTV range, for sites that mix standard IP cameras with high-power PoE devices. Ruijie lists it for CCTV, offices, hotels, factories and retail.

It has six Gigabit RJ45 ports and one 1G SFP port. Ports 1 and 2 support PoE++ (IEEE 802.3bt) with power on all four pairs, and are backward-compatible with PoE and PoE+ devices; ports 3 and 4 supply PoE/PoE+ (IEEE 802.3af/at). The four PoE ports share a 120 W PoE budget. Ports 5 and 6 are Gigabit ports without PoE for the NVR, router or another switch, and the SFP port takes a 1G fibre module (not included) for longer uplinks. Power comes from an external 54 V DC power adapter (100–240 V AC input).

Manage it free through Ruijie Cloud, the Reyee app or the built-in eWeb page: IPC (camera) recognition, PoE watchdog, cable test, Perpetual PoE through a warm restart, one-click Smart Protection (IP-conflict and loop prevention, DHCP snooping), 802.1Q VLANs (up to 32), static link aggregation, storm control and port mirroring. The fanless metal case measures 155 × 78 × 28 mm, with ±6 kV surge protection on the service ports and a DIP switch that sets the port LEDs to show traffic or PoE status.
