Overview

The Hikvision iDS-2CD7A46G2/LM-IZHSY(8-32mm)UK ANPR is the new-generation 4 MP DeepinView ANPR bullet camera, the direct successor to the popular iDS-2CD7A46G0/P-IZHSY(8-32mm). It is built on Hikvision’s new G2/LM (Large Vision) platform and is powered by the Guanlan Large Vision Model — a major step forward in licence-plate recognition robustness, image quality and on-camera vehicle analytics.

Per Hikvision’s Q2 2026 product-transition notice, the short- and medium-focal-length G0/P ANPR cameras enter phase-out and migrate to the corresponding G2/LM Large Vision ANPR models. Long-focal-length and dome variants within the iDS-7 Series ANPR range remain on the G0/P platform for now.

Guanlan Large Vision Model — What’s New

The G2/LM Large Vision platform is Hikvision’s deepest-learning ANPR camera engine to date. Compared with the outgoing G0/P:

• More robust ANPR recognition across diverse UK and Ireland plate formats, with stronger adaptability to dirty/damaged/angled plates.
• Motorcycle plate recognition (checkpoint scenario) — was not supported on the G0/P short-range models.
• Special-character plate recognition in selected regions and countries.
• 9 vehicle types detected on-camera: Car, Van, Bus, Truck, Light Truck, SUV/MPV, Pickup Truck, Motorcycle, Tricycle.
• 11 vehicle colours: red, yellow, green, blue, pink, purple, cyan, brown, white, grey, black.
• 200+ vehicle makes & models recognised on-camera.
• DarkFighter 2.0 + AI-ISP — cleaner low-light imagery, sharper motion capture (HFR), F1.0-class large-aperture optics for low-light plate reads.
• Dual AI on the AI Open Platform — ANPR and perimeter protection run simultaneously (not just one or the other).

Predecessor & Transition

The iDS-2CD7A46G2/LM-IZHSY(8-32mm) supersedes the iDS-2CD7A46G0/P-IZHSY(8-32mm) — the outgoing 4 MP DeepinView ANPR bullet on the G0/P platform. Hikvision’s Q2 2026 transition notice confirms: “Short- and medium-focal-length ANPR G0/P models will enter the phase-out period from Q2 2026 and transition to the corresponding G2/LM Large Vision ANPR models. Long-focal-length and dome variants within the 7 Series ANPR range will remain on the G0/P platform.” If you need ANPR stock now, the G0/P remains available from Netview CCTV until phase-out completes.
