8 × hot-plug SATA HDD bays support drives up to 16 TB each (raw capacity up to 128 TB), with RAID 0/1/5/6/10 + N+M hot spare for resilience against individual drive failures. The N+M hot spare configuration further enables a pool of spare drives to automatically rebuild any failed array member with zero administrator intervention — ideal for unattended 24/7 sites. 1 × eSATA interface provides additional external expansion. ANR (Automatic Network Replenishment) keeps recordings intact when network drops by syncing missing frames from the camera-side SD card once the connection is restored.
