Overview

The Hikvision DS-7604NI-K1/4P/4G(C) is a 4-channel 4G cellular NVR — an entry-tier Hikvision network video recorder with a built-in 4G LTE cellular WAN modem, allowing it to transmit recordings, alerts and live views over a mobile network without needing fixed-line broadband. Designed for remote-site installs, temporary deployments and mobile / portable surveillance applications. It records H.265+ / H.265 / H.264+ / H.264 with H.265+ compression cutting storage by up to 75%. Recording resolution up to 8 MP per channel. DecodingWhat is Decoding Capability capacity: 1-ch @ 8 MP, 3-ch @ 4 MP, or 6-ch @ 1080p simultaneously (30 fps).

Storage: 1 × SATA HDD bay, accepting a drive up to 8 TB. Incoming bandwidth 40 Mbps / outgoing bandwidth 80 Mbps. 4-channel synchronous playback. Smart search / smart playback improves review efficiency by jumping straight to motion or event-flagged segments. Stream-over-TLS encryption protects recordings in transit, including the cellular backhaul leg.

The defining feature of this NVR is its 4G LTE cellular WAN: a micro SIM card slot on the rear panel connects directly to a mobile network using the supplied SMA antenna module (3 m cable).
