Ajax SmartPlug (Socket type G) Jeweller — Smart Plug with Energy Monitor, Black
Remote control, 1 W energy monitoring and automation for any UK mains appliance — in a black finish to match black Ajax devices.
Overview
The Ajax SmartPlug (Socket type G) Jeweller brings ordinary mains appliances into an Ajax security system. Plug it into any UK socket, enrol it to the hub by QR code, and the connected lamp, heater, router or appliance can be switched from the Ajax app, an Ajax Button, or automatically by a scenario.
Built-in energy monitoring reports power use accurate to 1 W, so customers can see what an appliance draws and spot faults. An adjustable current threshold (1 A steps) and voltage and temperature protection cut power automatically if a load misbehaves.
Typical security uses: switch lights on when the alarm triggers or at dusk for presence simulation, power-cycle a router or NVR remotely, or switch off a heater when the system is armed. The black version is ordered in on request; the white SmartPlug is stocked for same-day dispatch from Netview CCTV Leicester.
