The Ajax ManualCallPoint Jeweller is a wireless addressable resettable button specifically designed for manual fire alarm activation. Certified to EN 54-11 and EN 54-25 standards, the red variant defaults to Fire Alarm mode – pressing it immediately triggers the built-in sirens of all connected fire detectors, sends an alarm to the monitoring station, and activates any configured automation scenarios.
Instant Fire Alarm Activation
In a fire emergency, every second counts. Lifting the transparent protective lid and pressing the frangible element activates the alarm instantly. All connected Ajax fire detectors sound their built-in sirens simultaneously, while users and the monitoring station receive immediate notifications via the Ajax app. The alarm remains active until the button is reset using the bundled special key – a deliberate design choice that prevents premature silencing.
Programmable Automation Scenarios
Beyond sounding alarms, the ManualCallPoint can trigger up to 64 automation scenarios configured through the EN54 Fire Hub Jeweller. A single press can de-energise the building via WallSwitch, unlock emergency exits via Relay, activate LED evacuation signage via I/O Module, and switch on emergency lighting – all within seconds of activation.
Reliable Mechanism Built for Emergencies
The button mechanism is deliberately simplified to a few solid parts, minimising any risk of mechanical failure during a critical moment. Designed for over 500 activations throughout its lifecycle, with Ajax testing 100% of production during manufacturing. The device is powered by pre-installed CR123A batteries providing up to 7 years of operation.
Supervised IoT Device
Unlike conventional manual call points that sit untested between fire drills, the ManualCallPoint exchanges data with the CIE every minute via the encrypted Jeweller protocol. If the button develops a fault, the system notifies the security company and users immediately – specifying which device on which premises has the issue. No periodic testing by triggering is required.
