The Ajax EN54 GlandBox is a purpose-built wiring accessory that enables neat, professional lateral cable entry into the EN54 Fire Hub Jeweller enclosure. Designed for installations where routing cables inside the wall isn't practical — such as heritage buildings, listed properties, retrofit projects, or temporary commercial setups — the GlandBox ensures surface-mounted cabling looks clean and is securely managed.
Professional Surface Wiring Made Easy
The GlandBox features 16 side recesses (four on each side) for flexible cable routing, accommodating cable glands up to 20 mm in diameter. Each entry point includes drill-guide recesses that hold the drill bit steady during installation, and we recommend using a hole saw for plastic with a diameter of up to 20 mm. Once cables are routed, red cable glands provide secure fixation and sealing for a protected, professional-looking connection.
Integrated Cable Management
Inside the GlandBox, built-in fasteners allow cables to be neatly organised and secured with cable ties. This keeps all internal wiring tidy and clearly arranged — essential for meeting professional installation standards and simplifying future maintenance visits.
