The Ajax EN54 FireProtect (VAD) Jeweller is a wireless addressable visual alarm device (VAD) certified to EN 54-23 and EN 54-25 standards. It provides bright strobe visual fire alerting for environments where audible alarms alone may be insufficient – essential for inclusive fire safety compliance in commercial and public buildings.
Certified Visual Alerting
The VAD produces a high-visibility strobe flash at 0.5 Hz (90 ms ON / 1,910 ms OFF) that is immediately recognisable as a fire warning. Certified to EN 54-23, this device meets UK Building Regulations and BS 5839 requirements for visual fire alarm notification. All VADs in the system synchronise automatically to flash simultaneously across the building.
