The Ajax EN54 FireProtect (Sounder/VAD) Jeweller combines a powerful fire alarm sounder with an EN 54-23 certified visual alarm device (VAD) in one wireless unit. This dual-function device provides both audible and visual fire alerting, making it essential for environments where hearing-impaired occupants may be present, or where high ambient noise levels could mask audible-only alarms.
Combined Audible + Visual Alerting
The sounder delivers up to 100 dB at 1 metre with 32 selectable EN 54-3 compliant alarm patterns. The integrated visual alarm device produces a bright strobe flash at 0.5 Hz (90 ms ON / 1,910 ms OFF), certified to EN 54-23 standards. Both audible and visual alerts synchronise automatically across all system devices for simultaneous, unified emergency notification throughout the building.
Versatile Installation
IP54 rated for indoor and outdoor use with a wide operating temperature range of -10°C to +60°C. Recommended mounting height is up to 3 metres on ceilings and 2.4 metres on walls for optimal coverage.
