The Ajax EN54 FireProtect (Heat/Sounder) Jeweller combines precision wireless heat detection with a powerful built-in fire alarm sounder in a single compact device. Certified to EN 54-3, EN 54-5, and EN 54-25 standards, this dual-function detector is ideal for commercial environments where both detection and audible alerting are required from one point.
Dual-Function Design
Two precision thermistors detect both rapid temperature rise and fixed temperature threshold exceedance, ensuring reliable fire detection. When an alarm is triggered, the built-in sounder produces an audible alert of up to 85 dB following an EN 54-3 compliant temporal pattern. All sounders across the system are automatically synchronised to activate simultaneously, ensuring a clear and unmistakable alarm throughout the premises.
Wireless Excellence
The detector communicates with the EN54 Fire Hub Jeweller CIE via the encrypted Jeweller radio protocol at distances up to 1,700 metres in open space. Two-way communication with block cipher encryption prevents spoofing and interference. The detector is always active, providing 24/7 fire protection regardless of the security system's armed/disarmed state.
Installer-Friendly
Pre-installed CR123A batteries provide up to 5 years of operation with advance low-battery notifications. The SmartBracket mounting panel enables 5-minute installation with up to 90° rotation for optimal positioning. All configuration is handled through the intuitive Ajax apps – no complex programming required.
