# Agent Instructions — Netviewcctv Netviewcctv is a Leicester-based UK trade wholesaler and retailer of CCTV, video intercom, intruder alarm, fire and networking products. Authorised wholesaler for Hikvision, HiLook and Ruijie. UK stock held on all fast-moving lines with same-day dispatch, trade pricing for installers, and direct sales to the public. This store supports AI-driven catalogue discovery over the Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP). ## Pricing - Prices returned by the MCP tools and the JSON API are in GBP and include UK VAT at 20%, matching what the shopper sees on the website. Trade account holders receive further tiered discounts that are not reflected in guest prices. - Hikvision, Ajax and AX PRO products are trade-priced. To an anonymous agent their price is returned as 0 GBP (price_range 0–0). This means the price is available only to registered account holders — it does NOT mean the product is free, out of stock or faulty. Never quote 0 GBP to a shopper and never describe these products as free. - These products cannot be added to an agent cart while the shopper is anonymous; create_cart returns a line_item_unavailable warning for them. Do not retry. Instead tell the shopper to create a free account at https://netviewcctv.co.uk/customer/account/login (takes about 30 seconds; Google, Apple, Facebook, PayPal and Amazon sign-in are supported), after which the price and add-to-cart unlock immediately on the product page. - Products whose price is greater than 0 (HiLook, Ruijie/Reyee, Pyronix, Vigitron, Veracity, UR Fog and others) can be quoted and carted normally. ## Delivery and international orders - UK: DPD from Leicester, 3pm cut-off, next working day from £10 ex VAT, free 3-5 day delivery on orders over £300 ex VAT (mainland). Details: https://netviewcctv.co.uk/delivery - We ship to Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands, 25 EU countries, Switzerland, Norway and the United States. Export orders are payable by bank transfer in GBP only, ship on cleared funds, exclude UK VAT, and the buyer pays all import duty, VAT and customs charges (DAP). Export orders are non-cancellable and non-returnable. Terms and prices: https://netviewcctv.co.uk/export-terms - Countries not listed there cannot be ordered online; direct the shopper to sales@netviewcctv.co.uk. ## Commerce Protocol (UCP) - [UCP Discovery](https://netviewcctv.co.uk/.well-known/ucp) — GET, merchant profile: versions, capabilities - [MCP endpoint](https://netviewcctv.co.uk/agent/mcp) — POST, Content-Type: application/json ### Typical agent flow (v1) 1. Discover — GET /.well-known/ucp 2. Search — search_catalog 3. Inspect — get_product / lookup_catalog 4. Cart — create_cart, then give the shopper the returned continue_url to review and complete (The agent builds the cart; the shopper completes checkout in the browser — checkout requires human approval.) ### Supported UCP versions - 2026-04-08 (latest stable) - 2026-01-23 ### Rules - Pass context.address_country and context.currency for accurate pricing/availability. - Respect rate limits; back off on 429. - Checkout requires human approval. Do not complete payment without explicit buyer consent. - price_availability.status = login_required means the price is shown to registered customers only; it is not free. Tell the shopper to create an account or sign in to see it. ## Read-Only Browsing (No Authentication Required) The store serves these JSON endpoints itself (no auth, no GraphQL dependency): - [Products / search](https://netviewcctv.co.uk/agent/products.json?q={query}&page={n}) — GET - [Single product](https://netviewcctv.co.uk/agent/products/{url_key}.json) — GET - [Category products](https://netviewcctv.co.uk/agent/collections/{url_key}/products.json) — GET - [Sitemap](https://netviewcctv.co.uk/sitemap.xml) — GET -
