The TMD15 15m Digital Dual Technology and Combined Non-overlapping Detector.
The TMD15 is a unique product boasting 2 non-overlapping detectors; a PIR and a Dual Technology in 1 robust housing. Based on Pyronix tried and tested patented technologies which has been proven over the last 25 years coupled with innovative features, the TMD15 offers you outstanding detection performance with optimum reliability designed to meet the latest industry regulations.
Patented Anti-Masking Technology
Pyronix patented technology offer the ultimate in masking detection. Unlike other detectors on the market, there is mask protection on both the PIR and Microwave.
No matter what substance is used to mask; paper, sprays, lacquers, cellotape, cardboard boxes, once the protective microwave anti mask bubble has been breached and either technology masked, the TMD15 will go into a mask condition.
Anti-Blocking Technology
This high security mode provides blocking detection in day mode, ensuring the ultimate protection against accidental or deliberate blocking.
The 2 detectors within the TMD15 are non-overlapping and have separate relay outputs. These outputs signal independently to the control panel and consequently the ARC (Alarm Receiving Centre) in the event of an activation. The TMD15 enables a cost effective and efficient sequential confirmation system.
The TMD15 boasts an Anti-Masking feature, where PIR and Microwave are both Anti-Mask protected. This means that the TMD15 is suitable for use in high risk environments and for use in EN50131-2-4 / EN50131-1 / PD6662 Grade 3 systems.
TMD (sequential confirmation) Mode 2 Independent detectors in 1 housing with non-overlapping fields of view and separate relay outputs provide a simple solution to sequential confirmation.
Anti-masking detection Ideal in high security environments where there may be a significant risk of masking. An area immediately in front of the detector is monitored continuously and separately from its normal mode. Any intrusion into this quiet area activates the anti-masking process. It also has separate mask and trouble output.
Auto sensitivity feature Depending on the environment condition, the detector will automatically adjust the sensitivity.
Selectable EOL resistors The detectors incorporates selectable alarm resistor values of 6K8, 5K6, 4K7 &1K & tamper values of 5K6, 4K7, 2K2 and 1K catering for most control panels on the market.
Patented Independent Floating Thresholds (IFT) This technology patented by Pyronix allows the detector to respond to the environmental changes by automatically adjusting its levels of immunity to background disturbances.
Anti blocking technology Provides blocking detection up to 15m in disarmed mode, for example, if the field of view is blocked when the system is being armed, arming will not be possible until the blockage has been removed.
Digital Temperature Compensation When the product is used in a hot environment this technology digitally adjusts the detectors sensitivity allowing it to maintain its range even when the background room temperature is almost equal to the external body temperature of 32ºC (internal body temperature = 37ºC).
